About the series

The F1600 Canada series will be relaunched in 2024. It will now be managed by JD Monoplace Canada. Experienced personnel working on the success of another well-known series will support this relaunch. The 2024 season is a transitional stage. We're going to work very hard to give the series back the letters of nobility it deserves.

The monoplace series in Canada

A little history

The F1600 series remains one of the finest entry-level monoplace series in Canada and around the world. The car remains affordable and demands a certain finesse when it comes to driving.

The F1600 is present in over 40 countries around the world. This monoplace still has a strong presence on circuits such as Silverstone in England, the famous Nurburgring in Germany, Suzuka in Japan, Mosport in Canada and Watkins Glen in the USA.

It remains the ideal monoplace for making the leap from karting to prestige series. Sanctioned by the ASN (Autorité Sportive Nationale), the FIA's representative in Canada, the F1600 Canada is getting a facelift this year, with a new image, a more modern logo and a refreshed website.
